AIM’s THREE PILLARS

Leadership

Through curriculum developed by national and international leaders, our program trains hospital administrators, ministers of health, public health officials, and future national leaders on the principles of leadership within healthcare management. By creating a shared vision and unified goals - working within a country’s healthcare system - we assist local healthcare leaders in defining what they are trying to accomplish as a nation and help them work towards creating a system that best meets their unique, local needs.

Education

Most developing countries have limited resources to provide continuing medical education. AIM provides easy-access online teaching modules that offer continuing medical education in multiple disciplines and on multiple topics, effective protocols, and structured approaches to addressing a country’s specific needs. The modules—eventually transitioned to the host country—include live video conferences during which physicians discuss cases with peers in the US.

Collaboration

AIM physicians teach and work side-by-side with colleagues around the world to gain firsthand knowledge of the limitations, barriers, and working environment of a country’s healthcare system before attempting to problem solve. By working alongside our peers in regional hospitals, especially implementing advanced medical technologies with improved equipment, we help set a standard of excellence and an expanded vision within the community that lifts the entire system.
