What We Do
The Alliance for International Medicine provides surgical and anesthesia equipment, training, and medical care in resource-restricted countries. Our goals align with the World Health Organization’s initiative on providing surgical and anesthesia services to these populations. We build strong alliances with local healthcare workers by implementing comprehensive training, state-of-the-art equipment and continued support, allowing the established medical community to provide a higher standard of care to their patients year-round. We also deliver care directly to these communities by bringing highly trained specialists who not only donate their medical expertise to the local population, but work side by side with our international peers to help advance medical knowledge, while also coming to a better understanding of the cultures in which we serve.
